20 Fresh Business Cards Released in June 2010
We are always on the lookout for creative and unique business cards. As our way of sharing what we found online we are continuing this regular portion of our blog where we share what we think are the best business cards every end of the month. So for the month of June 2010, here are our top 20 fresh business card designs released during the month. This collection includes new business cards which were printed using various techniques such as letterpress, thermography, etc. and make use of materials such as metals and plastic instead of the usual card stock.

01-Sandra Boils identity design
This fresh business card design was created for a Jazz Vocalist from Valencia (Spain): Sandra Boïls. She needed something simple and elegant, so a monochromatic design with simple graphics and typography was proposed to her. But what really makes them lovely is the repeating piano key pattern that forms when the cards are layed out side by side.

A 2-color letterpress printed fresh business card with die-cuts and perforation.
03-Studio 501 Business Cards
The design is simple, clean, and modern. This fresh business card features a design that resembles an audio frequency bars on a soundboard.
04-Spot UV Card
A more experimental approach to a business card, spot UV covers the seams of the barrel, wine spots, and barrel bands.
05-Nimble Graphics Cards
This fresh business card was done on 4/4 offset printing using 14pt. paper with silk lamination and spot UV coating.
06-100% Cotton Business Cards
The front of the business cards required two hits of color and a blind de-boss. Each business card passed through the press a total of 5 times (once for each color/impression, front and back), and they were also printed on 220lb. flourescent white Crane Lettra 100% cotton stock… the thick stuff.

12-Glow in the Dark Business Cards
These fresh business cards were printed on paper PLIKE 330 grams with the help of thermography. The logo glows in the dark for 2-3 hours, if you “charge” them 6-8 hours to bright light or under a lamp. The use of glow-powder for thermography, and not in the ink, gives a thick layer of even small letters, unlike those done using silk-screen printing.

A series of 4 cards. Each card is a HTML document with details coded as a hCard. Each of the 4 cards have a different style sheet so if you were to type it up you’d get differently styled cards.

19-White Letterpress Card
A clean design of slab serif type in grey ink and debossed logo. Deboss is letterpress printing but with no ink and creates a superbly tactile finish. The card is white front and grey back, sandwiched together to create a striking effect that works with the design. The cards were designed by David Parsons and letterpress printed by Blush Publishing.
